Last week when I went to get a new thermostat for the air box on my '96 965 we, (the parts guy and I), couldn't find it in the system. I took mine out while I was there and we looked for part numbers on it that looked like Volvo numbers. NO GO! He noted that it looked like the one from an 850 so I had him order one.

I picked it up today and it was a perfect fit. I got a chance to do a WOT run off a stop light up to about 60 on the way back to work and I think I can feel the cool air difference.

'96 965, 16' wheels, 18mm rear bar & 204HP cams at 122K. Had '85 745 Turbo Diesel for 200K.
