A/C source/Thank Robert Ludwick S90-V90

As posted below, both drive belt pulleys and A/C compressor pulley are noisy on my 1995 960, so I plan to replace the drive belt, its tensioner (with pulley) and idler pulley, the timing belt with its tensioner and pulleys, and the A/C compressor. All this could be overkill, but perhaps I had better not even remotely risk breaking or throwing the timing belt. I already had to replace the timing belt idler pulley after it suddenly got very noisy at around 64K miles. Robert Ludwick suggested I get a Sanden 709 A/C compressor for $185 from As directed at the website, I telephoned Jon at 1 888 977 8889. He explained he does hot rods and the Sanden 709 will not directly fit my car with OEM Sanden SD7H15 (six groove pulley, eight ear body). Instead, he recommended I phone his dad at 1 (800) 223-7167. I did. Dad has been in the car A/C business forever, knew what I wanted and shipped it out immediately for $250 (Sanden SD7H15, accumulator, orifice valve, O rings, shipping and handling to PR -no core charge but dad will pay shipping if I send him the old compressor). God bless the USA and Robert Ludwick. Best regards to all.
