Weak points on 1988 740 turbo wagon? (long) 700

problem 1- water in oil is never a good sign, but it could be condensation, guess best to wait and see, watch for overheating...(not a Volvo problem, but a sign of bad head gasket).

-2 Dubious about battery, a fully charged battery would have no problem with extra loads. Check the charging voltage with a voltmeter. if it's OK, then have the battery tested. If the charging voltage is not there, suspect worn alt. brushes, or maybe bad voltage regulator (bolted to back of alternator).
