Defrost almost non-existent on driver's side...what's up? 89-245 200

This has been trending this way for a while but Utah is/was a dry weather state. If you've seen the national news here in the US then you probably know that this year has not been dry. St. George Utah is washing down stream.

Anyway, I can hear the vacuum actuations. The passenger side works OK. This is the car we use to run the dogs to the trailheads in every day. There's a lot of dog hair and dirt floating through the air. Is it possible that this is obstructing things? Is there something I can clean to improve the airflow or is this problem likely due to another issue?

Thanks and happy New Year.
