760T suspension question 700

The front end of my 1986 760T bounces and sways with little control, particularly with sudden steering inputs, like on a car with a heavily loaded trunk (but without self-leveling suspension). Steering rack, front strut cartridges, rear Nivomats, indeed all steering and front and rear suspension parts are new, down to every single front and rear bushing and rubber part, except for the original front strut springs and rear springs. Have these given up the ghost?
