Concerns about 'bad things' 200

Most of us that had problems were talking about the back end, no spacers there.

It comes down to quality control, some of the shocks had "eyes" that were too big. No amount of force holding the shock from the side (ie the nut) is going to keep it from moving up and down, that's what the bushing is for, the nut just keeps it from falling off. The shim stock I used to get temoprary quiet was about the same size as the largest blade of my feeler gauge, .025, I put a strip in that went about half way around the "eye". It doesn't take much to make a clunk.

I loved the ride, they didn't have the progressive nature of the HDs but were nice and firm. Quite a bit stiffer than the Boge Turbo set which I found a bit soft for spirited driving with sport springs, Turbo's would be a great choice for stock springs and normal driving.
