before Fuel Pump declared dead... 700

hit the pump with a rubber mallet while cranking. i do not think the pump will run before cranking. i once saw a 700 series pump quit running and the female socket that relay plugs into had a bad wire in it. pull relay(white) and examine the socket for signs of heat.also you can take cover from relay and watch BOTH CONTACTS CLOSE. if they do not close them with your fingers and try to start.
