Problem with locks freezing 900

If you lock freezes after freezing rain, it's because of the rubber strip at the bottom of the window getting britle. Water gets into the inside door as a result and freezes there. I tried all kinds lubricants and none of them seemed to work. My solution now is leave the door unlocked whenever it rains in winter. Worked well so far :)
