starts at +5 degrees, not at -5 degrees 200 1986

Last night it got down to -5 degrees F here. My 240 was parked outside overnight and wouldn't start this morning. It cranks and cranks, but wouldn't catch. The night before,it got down to +5 degrees F, but I had no problem starting it the following morning. I've tested the FI relay, checked I had fuel flow, and unplugged the AMM - all to no avail. My best guess now is either a faulty coolant temp sensor or partially clogged fuel injectors. But it seems to me that the difference between -5 and +5 degrees would not result in a significant enough change in the sensor signal to make much difference in the fuel mixture. Any other ideas out there?
