Cooling System Problems 200 1989

I've got an 89 240DL and need some advice. I've had a strange leak in my cooling system the last couple weeks, but I can't for the life of me figure our where the leak is comming from. The other day the radiator spout broke, so I thought I solved the mystery, but I replaced the radiator and there is still a leak. The problem is there is coolant splattered everywhere, on the distributor cap, the air filter cover, and all the way back to near the heater hoses. But on several occasions now I've run the car and looked all over the place and can't see the source of the leak, the hoses all look fine, no noticeable drips, sprays or anything. But I'm going through a quart of water everytime I drive.

Any advice?
