Overdrive pilot light 1800 1967

My '71 is wired (factory wiring) the same way. No relays (that I know of) - just the on-off steering column mounted wand switch. Whenever the switch is on the light is on, although the OD is only on when in 4th gear. The light serves as a reminder that you left the switch on last time you slowed down and shifted to third, possibly (though usually not in my case) preventing you from one of those '3rd-to-5th' suprise shifts later on.
