Vacuum Advance Set up 444-544

Just been through this.

Get a flathead screwdriver with at LEAST a 6" shaft. Make an index mark on the butt end so you can tell what you're doing.

Pull out the shaft. Stick the screwdriver in the pump drive. Now you look at the index mark so you know how much you're turning the pump.

Took me about 12 tries to get it where I wanted it on my '75 245. But manipulating 3D objects in my brain is not my strong suit :)
