WOOHOO! got the pass-side window up, but... 200 1989

I broke the tabs that were holding the switch down when I attempted to repair my passenger-side window switch. I gave up and let my mechanic replace the switch altogether. He also replaced the driver's side switch, as that was what was supposedly causing the problem.

I don't think you fried any parts when you short-circuited it, but you will need a new fuse.

At the very least, it sounds like you need a new switch rocker. Apparently the method of removal you and I tried is not the right one.
