tranny oil questions 140-160 1972

What Redline oil did you use? I've put some Redline MTL in my last m40 for a while... I didn't really notice much difference, the noise might have even gotten worse, but the transmission felt smoother i guess you could say... Maybe less friction ish... The MTL is their lighter fluid, there is another heavier oil too that they carry... The MTL is supposedly for 80/90 replacement, which is what I normally use in my tranny.. So FWIW, that's my experience with it. Let us know what you do and how it turns out!
