Alloys on a 164, what wheel studs to use? 140-160

Hi everyone, It seems that I have a lot of questions lately. Thank you to everyone who has helped!
I have some old Fondmetal Alloys, (they look very similar to BBS wheels), they are the correct size, offset, etc. for a 1972 Volvo. My problem is that the wheel studs don't really protrude enough. the lug nuts will only grab about 3/8" of the studs and I need longer ones to use the wheels. Has anyone encountered this? trying to put alloys on a 164 with the vented discs? What wheel studs to use?
Thank you in advance for any info.
Chris
