Front Passenger window won't go down 200 1990

hi!

I just had this problem recently! if you scroll down a bit look for "HELP..." in title :P you do NOT really need to remove armrest (found that out a bit too late). use a flathead screwdriver and gently pry up the control console. once that is out, you will see a connector with wires plugged to the switch. it's a pain to just disconnect the connector from the switch with yer hands, so use a small, thin screwdriver and use it as a leverage to separate connector from switch (I believe it's a 5-pin plug). do this gently. the next tricky part is to pry out the switch from the console. use a flathead screwdriver and GENTLY slip it into one end of the switch. GENTLY leverage it out from the bracket. do the same for the other end. GENTLY or you will break something! not a big deal if you break the bracket on the console, but nonetheless discouraging. the easy part comes when you plug the connector to the new switch--DON'T snap switch back into console yet! with switch plugged to connector, test it to see if window now works. if it does, put new switch back into console and snap console back into armrest. hope this helps. I've learned it the hard way.

edit to add: does pass-side window work using the master/driverside control?
also check fuse #10--it should have a 16amp fuse (red).
