Front Passenger window won't go down 200 1990

With some small screwdrivers you can remove the switch panel from the door. Then the switch can be unplugged (the switches only plug in one way) and taken inside where it's warm to work on it.
Unsnap the switch from the trim panel that surrounds it. Pry open the sides of the switch gently, to release the bottom piece of the switch that has the plug pins on it. The rocker will separate and a pair of metal seesaws and a pair of ball bearings will fall out.
On the bottom plate, you'll see the contacts. They're silver and probably a few are burnt black. Take a file and sand down the burnt ones until they are smooth and not pitted. Replace the two seesaws, lay the ball bearings in the bottom V of them, and align the rocker to the center position. Its two fingers need to line up with the BB's. The whole thing snaps back together and you'll know it's ok by the action of it. If it feels right, it'll be working right.

Plug it back in and the switch should work right. I did this recently for all 7 switches in my wife's 82 wagon. They now all work right. About 2 switches worked before.
