ROUGH running when cold S90-V90 1998

***brickboard just lost my post when I tried to reply. Lemme see if I can re-creat what I just tried to say***

A good point. I will look at the intake area if I can brave the cold this weekend.

As for the other responses:

Oil: Mobil 1 10w-30. Same brand as I've used ever since new.

Driveablity vs. noises: It's not just a series of noises. You can feel the rumble through the car and it seems to "run rough" when accelerating until the engine shows normal operating temps via the gauge. The temp seems to rise normally. At normal temp, the rumble seems to 95% disappear.

How cold is it while trying to start: I've noticed this starting in the fall when the morning temps were on the decline. Either it's gotten worse due to mechanics or the cold. I'm leaning more to a mechanical issue though. But lately it's in the 20's in the morning around here.

Thanks for all the responses! Please keep 'em coming as I need the help!
