Steamy 240 ventillation : update 200 1989

Hi all,

Regarding my post from yesterday... I did a bit of looking last night, I don;t think the humid air and window fogging is related to a leaky heater core. No mist on the windshield, no wet carpet, no significant coolant loss.
instead...
I recall always being able to hear the "shluck" of the re-circ damper door after pressing the switch. No more Shluck i.e. the door must not be moving and permanently in the re-circ position, no outside air. Hence once the air warms up after I start the car, it likely condenses the humid air in the cabin onto the windows...

Question is, is the the flap that is jammed, the actuator that has failed, or the vacuum line that is punctured? The other selectors work well, so I am assumign it is not the main vacuum line from the intake through the firewall.
I did notice though that overnight the vacuum was gone i.e. leaked slowly.
