running problems 200 1992

My 240 has been very reliable since I got it. I managed to drive about 3,000 miles on a car with 205k. But just this past week it died on me. It seems that whenever the engine gets up to running temp it dies. I have had this happen 3 times so far. I have plenty of radiator fluid and a full tank of gas. After it stalls it still is tring to turn over put doesn't catch. I think it has something to do with the distributer but I'm not sure.
Thanks
Rob
