Dies after 5 minutes driving 700 1987

We have tried putting in new fuel pump relay (serveral), and radio supression relays.

Can hear intank pump.

Would a fuel pump going bad act this way? or just go out?

This problem was intermitent, know seems to happen on most every drive.

Will start back up after maybe 30 minutes to an hour.

Yes, I will check out the FAQ as well, because i know this is the most frequent asked question.

but, I will ask it again.

740 Turbo, 1987

thanks

-Bruce
