Oxygen sensor testing-off car 700

Your signature indicates that you have 215K miles on this car, correct? I have a better idea. Go to the parts store and buy a new Bosch sensor for a Ford V8 (Mustang for instance) -- it should be less than $40 -- and splice your old connector onto it. This way you have a new sensor that you know is good, and you don't have to worry about it for another 215K miles.

All Bosch oxygen sensors are the same. The only difference between the $150 sensor for my Mercedes and a $38 sensor for a Mustang is the connector!

If your time is worth anything to you, there is a false economy in installing used parts (especially electrical parts) when a new part can be had for a reasonable amount of money (in my humble opinion).

Just my 2 cents... arguably worth that.
