My 164E runs! 140-160 1975

Dot 4!!!!! Dot 4!!!!!! No Dot 3!!!!!!! I may be old school on that, considering things I've read of late, but...

I ended up replacing master, proportioning valve, brake lines, and 2 calipers on a 240 that a kid put Dot 3 in...everything just kinda disengrated...and he wasn't a very nice younger individual. He copped an attitude with me, so when he said, "how was I to know that adding fluid wasn't normal on an old car (a 90 240) and that I needed to use Dot 4?" I couldn't have had more fun that day...I took the cap off, handed it to him, and said, "you CAN read, can't you?" Hmmm...I wonder who has to deal with him now...

Chris
