Well, folks, I was a little less than overwhelmed by my original request for help, but making the request counts as due diligence, I suppose...

I fixed the problem, although I'm not quite sure how I did it. It seemed like the cylinders were flooding, so I suspected the FPR. The vacuum line from the manifold was hard and a little loose, so that may have been the problem. I also swapped in a spare AMM and left the cylinders open to the air for two days to help vaporize any residual fuel. Fired right up! If I weren't so lazy I'd probably swap the original AMM to help pinpoint the exact cause of the problem, but what the heck!

Oh, yeah, one more thing. This time I tried to start the car using the "lucky key." This is a closely held secret, but the valet key has special mojo for just such emergencies. However, do not resort to the mojo key before exhausting all possible temporal remedies for your problem. Save it for times when you really need it!
