78 242 B21A - help Identify this 'relay?'...

This is a grey metal "relay" located at the right front (close to the headlight) inner fender - ahead of the washer fluid reservoir.


The markings on the side identify it as

" Volvo IMP 519 1234 "

There are three wires leading from it - red, green & black.

These wires are broken - and I am wondering what this controls...
