Strut Questions for my '84 242...What should I get? 200

So it's time for new struts in my '84, and I have absoultely no idea what I want. The back has some cheap kyb's that are about three years old and work just fine. The ride I'm looking for wouldn't be uncomfortably stiff, and would be very responsive. Since I basically have no front shocks or front bushings anymore, the car handles like a broken shopping cart, so anything would be a huge improvement. Money is also a consideration, I only have about $200 for this, I'm taking them out of the car and my mechanic friend is using his spring compressors. He sells kybs and Tokicos, with a preference toward the latter. Anyone have the Tokicos? Or the cheap boges? I think I'd really like the bilsteins, is it worth the extra $$$ over the tokicos? And will I be able to do all of the front bushings by myself? Thanks a ton.
