Yes, I assumed they were different because with the BW the speedometer was about as accurate as these ribbon jobbies ever get. Maybe I should have saved the gear out of the automatic, but that's water under the bridge now because it went to the dump a long time ago. The question is still, can I get the gear out of the OD, so I can count the teeth, without spilling the oil? Apparently, as Damian says, that is so for the M40. So, I would assume the same goes for the M41. What do you think, George?
