Adjusting drivebelt tension 200

Hey guys,

I need some help adjusting the drivebelt tension, mainly the belts that run my alternator.

I have between 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch of deflection in the two belts that connect the water pump, alternator and fan.

How hard is it to adjust the tension? Kind of a noobie to mechanics.
Its my understanding that to tighten the divebelt to the alternator I loosen the alternator mounting bolts, grab a pry bar and pry it till the tension is tight? How many mouting bolts are there for the alternator? Is it hard to get access to?

Its on a 1980 240 DL.

Thanks for the help.
