M41/M40 Gearbox Switches 120-130

Hi Chaps

Can anybody ID the two switches on the remote gearbox cover in the attatched picture? Although the gearbox is marked M150 I believe it is an M41 attached to a J type overdrive. I think the switches are the reverse light switch and the inhibitor switch, but wihich is which please?
I intend to do away with the short remote gearshift and use the original long flappy gearshift so I will have to change the gearbox cover. Doing this I have to fit the switches into the M40 cover. Has anybody tried this? I assume it would be a case of drilling and tapping the M40.
