tranny work weekend planning 200

Hi all,

I'm about to tackle a kickdown cable replacement this weekend. I just had the tranny serviced two weeks ago (pan dropped, filter change, arrgh!), but I'm going to do this one myself. After researching the faq's and posts, I have a couple of questions.

- Should I still replace the gasket if its only two weeks old?

- How many quarts should I buy for a pan removal service?

- Should I go synthetic? If you don't completly flush it, can you just mix the synthetic with the regular fluid that's in there? Is it worth it?

Thanks!

Joel
