AMM to Turbo S shaped hose - from FCP Groton - WTF ? 700 1987

Volvists,

UPS just delivered what appears to be an AMM to Turbo Hose to me (hmmmmm)

I am intimate with this particular hose since I had to fondle mine extensively to locate the tear in the one installed on my '87 B230FT Garret Turbo that was making the engine run rich and get suckbag gas mileage (19 MPG).

Soo. thar Eugeeene I dun ordered this here newfangled one (significantly less expensive than one from Volvo) from FCP - The problem is the It looks like it ain't gonna fit in there !!

You guys have any experience with these FCP people and the parts reliability ?

I don't want to end up having to modify more hoses just to make the thing fit.
