Hi. Radiators don't last forever, and it's one of the easiest jobs to do. If you include changing the two hoses (which you should anyway, and which actually makes the job a lot faster and easier because you don't have to preserve the old ones), you should be able to do the entire removal/replacement in less than a half hour (figure an additional half hour for the coolant flush and replacement). And you'll also benefit from being compelled to change the coolant, too.
Some suggestions: use distilled water when you make your 50:50 mixture; and install a fresh thermostat, too.
Most definitely, my final suggestion, especially given your region and frequent A/C use: install a Nissen 3-row ("heavy-duty") radiator -- it's got truly amazing resistance to overheating (e.g., idling stationary in 100 deg temperature, with the A/C going, for almost an hour without any temperature rise -- my personal experience!). And don't forget that a good radiator also helps keep your automatic transmission from overheating, too! I don't know what you get if you buy it elsewhere, but I know that if you buy it from IPD, they include the temp-sender (to control a fan), the significance being that this firmly screws in with a metal gasket that won't fail -- in contrast, I've heard of stories of these same radiators being sold from other vendors with just a rubber plug instead, and these eventually fail with a catastrophic sudden coolant loss, so you want that screw-in sender for a permanent seal.
Bottom line - do it now, before the summer!
