thank you brickboard - stalling solved 700

Thanks all, my 760 turbo purrs again and I was reminded to "keep it simple."

Problem turned out to be a torn spark plug boot; I replaced the plug wires a year ago! arcing to the block. I discovered it by accident after tiring of fussing with the amm, vacuum hoses etc. and moving on to general maintenance for awhile before retackling the issue.

Car idled and accelerated fine with amm disconnected ..... started instantly but stalled after 3 or 4 seconds unless the gas was feathered with amm connected .....
I didn't find an "007" amm in a close junk yard; rebuilt cost quoted at $190. happy I didn't need it .....
Next best is girlfriend being happy I didn't make a mess in our driveway + even with the car on ramps (fuel filter and gas pump checking) the place didn't look like "Hooverville" she said.

thanks again for the help and support
