760 coil testing 700


Mike,

You need to hook the multi meter's test probe to the negative side of the coil. I think it has a blue wire on it, but I'm not sure. Just touch it right to the terminal on the coil. When cranking, I think the voltage should be greater than 10.5 or so ( maybe 11.5 I can't really remember). If not, the coil is suspect. Also, make sure the coil's positive wire is getting power. I have the same car with the B23FT.
