960 Front spring question 900

i installed the the strut assys from a 93 964 to my 94 965.well as i got into it some swapping of original and 93 964,i ended up using the springs from the 93 since they came from a 90k car.it appears the front now is slightly elevated.i didn't take before and after measurements.the 93 & 94 springs have different paint markings on them(even though they were the same height) and the 93 had an IRS rear susp.i can live with the current setup because i dont want to take it apart just to change out the springs.
has anyone done this and noticed a difference?i still have the originals and will keep them in case i do end up swapping them.i did this conversion primarily for the wheel bearing hubs, not knowing at the time that the hubs will come off the spindels without falling apart.after installing the 93 strut assys one of them bent so i had to reinstall a 94 housing so i'm a little tired of front susp work for the time being.
