time to do front and rear brake pads 200 1990

Good evening all BB.

Well it's time to do the front and rear brakes on my other volvo.Well not really mine it's my other half's car but since i do some of the maintenance on the car myself and with my wallet.Anywayz our indy volvo mechanic said that the car is due for a brake pads. His exact words were," left rear inner pad and front pads are close" So i'm thinking of just go ahead and replace all pads, front and rear. i have done the rear pads before but never the front pads. What brake pads are needed? Is this basically lift car and with jackstands, take off wheel, remove the old pads and install the new pads?

Thx. for the advice.

The volvo is a 90 245 w non abs
