Decked block + shaved head + lowered rocker shafts... 444-544

All the mods have finally caught up with me. During the PV motor rebuild I had the block decked to bring the pistons flush. And I'm using a thinner head gasket than before. And my cylinder head is some ex-race car pice that has had the heck shaved out of it. And the aluminum bridge that holds my roller rocker arms (a neat piece of KGTrimning engine candy) holds the rocker shaft slightly lower as well. Prior to the rebuild everything worked, but last night when I bolted the rockers on I found that even with the adjusters backed all the way off the valves are all cracked open slightly. This is with Isky 202H lifters and VL123 pushrods (the Isky equivalent of the IPD pushrod kit).

Ah well, off to scour the Isky catalog for some ball/cup pushrods in a slightly shorter length. The VL123's are 8.737 inches long - something in the 8.5 - 8.55 range should probably work.
