Found something else different 700

There is usually a name plate on a turbo stating some of the details. I know Mitsubishi has one that can be seen from the front of the engine looking between the exhaust side of the head and the turbo itself. My TD05 has a black plate, the TD04 (both of mine) have a red plate.

The Garrett's that I've seen have Air Research printed on them, probably have a data plate somewhere too.

You shouldn't have to do anything to the turbo CBV or other connections...it's integrated into the turbo unit! As stated in my original message the 4.2mm vacuum hose will connect from the CBV to the intake manifold. I really don't know what the other, large, hose is that you mentioned, not sure what it is perhaps a Garrett specific thing?? Perhaps an air pump for emissions?? (although my '89 765T had no air pump so yours probably doesn't have one.)

The only large hose on both of my turbo cars that is anywhere near the turbo and runs to the top of the engine is for the PCV system. One end connects to a t'ed plastic nipple that runs between intake runners 3 & 4, the other end of the hose connects to a connection on the air intake hose between the AMM and the turbo inlet.

Can you post pictures of the two engines / turbo units / large hose?
