Virgo 240 wheels and 'BIG' brakes on a 740 700 1986

I have recently installed a primo set of 15" Virgo wheels from the 240 turbo series on my 86 740 SW. The look great. Now for the next step. I have ordered a set of ABS Girling brackets (junkyard), rebuilt non ABS Girling calipers and new pads and 11.25" rotors for the 'BIG' front brake conversion, as per the FAQ.
Someone said that the Virgos will not work with the 11.25" ABS brakes.
Will I have to give up my Virgos in order to have 'BIG' brakes?
I feel that they will work, cuz the OEM size was 15"....what say you, O mighty BBers?
gracias,
el Raidman
