Ready to push my car over a cliff... 𖙰 GLE] 700 1985

Bought my car about a month ago.

it has now been in the shop for three weeks, and nobody knows what the hell is wrong with it.

it constantly wants to die all the time, sometimes starts cold fine, sometimes requires an assload of cranking to get it to struggle to life. It never starts warm, and just has general malade going on.

mechanic doesn't know whats wrong with it, but if he applies vacuum manually to the distributor before he starts it, it starts right up with no issue.

think it's a distributor issue, and that perhaps sometimes it just doesn't get spark

I want my car back, and I want it working.

anyone here in the Powell River, BC area, please help! Mechanic recommendations, anything!

forgot to mention, I've got the Rev. 1 Frogger B28 6-cyl engine..

thanks

Clinton Crawford
