Reattaching Side Mirror Glass 900 1995

The drivers side mirror glass popped off its backing while I wiping winter grunge off. I feel lucky it didn't fall off during my commute home.

It's a heated mirror and I'm curious if there is a recommended adhesive to use to reattach. I have a tube of 3M Emblem Adhesive and a tube of windshield sealant in the garage - are either of these OK, or are there better choices?

Thanks.
