No Start / No Tach Signal on 765T 700 1989

My 765T went from no hot-start to no start. In looking at the FAQ's, I've got lots of things to check out. The tach needle does not jump when cranking. The distributor was replaced less than 5,000 miles ago, so I'm leaning toward not suspecting the hall sensor.

My coil was replaced less than 3,000 miles ago. I'm thinking that I need to test the power stage amplifier, if possible. I will trace wiring to the hall sensor, also.

Additional words of wisdom and experience are much appreciated....
