Intermittent tail light problem 200

I had a intermittent problem also and it was hard to detect. There is a plastic tang on the tail lamp housing that the printed circuit contacts folder over and then the harness plug connects over it. One corner of the tang had broken off and the plug contacts were not making good contact with the printed circuit and subsequently burn a small hole in the printed circuit. This is not easy to detect without removing the printed circuit. I had to buy a new assembly. You can get an entire assembly at www.lampsandlenses.com for less than $70
