Back to life! 120-130

My 164 isn't as old as yours, but also didn't come with brakes. Found that the fluid drained out of the rear brake seals. A little dry rot :)
I am replacing the master cylinder only because it has been dry for years and I don't trust it. It looked rusty inside!
I think you still have to live with the single line system unless you are going to change the hard lines and brave the rigors of routing everything. The dual line system is a fail safe and seldom really needed. I wouldn't bother. But don't rely on the Ebrake, it's not good enough to stop you at speed.
