Still No headlights or turn signals.... 900

OK... 91 940 GLE

Had a problem with the ignition switch sticking in the start position. Bought a new one from the Volvo dealer. DIdnt have time to install it. Had it installed by a place in town that does work on Euro cars. Since then, no headlights, front fog lights or turn signals/hazard flashers.

Took the ignition switch out (myself this time) and brought it back to the Volvo dealer. They ordered me another one. traded switches. I installed the other ignition switch (myself this time) and still no headlights or turn signals.

I have all other lights. (parking lights, interior lights, rear facing fog, brake lights, etc.) it is not the fuses (at least in the case of the turn signals) since everything else that runs on the same fuse as the turn signals (power windows/mirrors)all work fine.

Can hear a relay clciking when I hit the switch from parking lights to head lights position, but no lights come on. Dont hear a relay at all when turning on the turn signals hazard lights....

OK... so what do the head lights, front fogs and turn signals have in common other than the ignition switch??? do they have a common gound or power source??? if so, where is it?

Anything else that can be causing these two sets of lights not to work???

Thanks, and appreciate any advice ideas...

Fred
