Wiring fuel pressure regulator - '82 240

OK, so I spent most of an afternoon wrangling in the bowels of my motor to remove the retaining clip from the fuel press. regulator connector. My problem is that both wires in the connector are grounded. According to Bentley, only 1 should be ground. So there's no 12V w/ignition on. My question is: where does the connector wiring end? It seems to get sucked into a massive, now almost completely hardened wiring harness heading to the firewall. But if I want to just re-wire this connector, where can I find the other end of the fuel press. regulator wires, colors are black & blue? Or does anyone have any other suggestions? Many thanks in advance.
