Instrument panel ground 700 1987

I think I have a ground problem with my instrument panel. The adjustable light dims and becomes bright at will. The tach jumps up occasionally on its on. It also bounces when the left indicator is on. When you honk the horn it has full deflection. I have tried to locate the ground but have been unsuccessful. There is a ground block on the lower passenger A post and a ground screw between the front seats but cleaning those did not clear the problem. I don't find any grounds on the driver side. Any ideas?
