Problem With Clutch Cable 760 Diesel 700

Had my clutch cable break on sunday at the petel, the little crimped T-junction worked its way into my shoe as well. Does anyone know what other models share the same cable like a 760 gas? The cable end that interfaces to the transmission has a large plastic adjuster on the end that I dont recall being present on the other models however I didnt look close enough, most of my other bricks have had hydraulic clutches and I dont remember the layout of my sons old 240.

Right now I have a temporary end on the cable after drilling out a bolt and using 2 nuts as a compression lock on the end however the cable is now at the extreme of adjustment and I have a feeling the cable is going to snap again.

Did drive 225 miles with no clutch at all but I doubt I would make it 2 miles in a city.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Thanks guys
