really newbie sounding question.... 200 1989

Okay, so I need to order inner tie rods for my baby. The parts sites online say that there is this really handy data plate on a door pillar that lists the type of steering gear used.
So I've looked around the doors, and around the tailgate(245), and I've discovered my tire pressure, and that my car was built in sweden.
I looked under the hood and didn't see it there either.
Am I missing something here? There are data tags on the door pillars but they don't say anything remotely related to steering gear.
Any help?
Any other way to figure out if it's a zf or cam rack?
