Charcoal Cannister - which outlets go where ??? 700 1985

Can someone label the 3 outlets on the charcoal-cannister for me ? It's been disconnected for ages because the hoses were bad (the 2 throttle-body outlets were bridged with a short length of hose) - but I want to connect it back again. I've labeled the outlets A, B & C in the picture below.

I received one response in an earlier post (thanks Sumerduckman!) indicating B & C should go to the TB, and A should go to the gas-tank. However, on mine the 6-inch long hose off outlet A seems like the original one, and the free-end looks like it was moulded (so it hasn't been cut) - so not sure whether this is designed to be routed to the gas-tank / rollover-valve or just left open the way it currently is...

Also - is there any way to check these cannisters ?

Thanks !

Noel
